Inducted into Tau Beta Pi
In November of 2023, Joseph was inducted into the NYQ chapter of Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society based on being in the top 1/8th of his class at Clarkson University.

Selected to Join Clarkson Honors
In May of 2022, before the start of his freshman year of college, Joseph was selected to be one of the 60 freshman to join Clarkson University's highly selective Honors Program. Clarkson honors cultivates leadership and an ethos of service into it's members to create well rounded citizens.
Cornell Lab Safety Certificate
Joseph completed Cornell University's Lab Safety Certificate Program. This allows him to safely use some labs on Cornell campus as well as have a better understanding of what lab safety is. The purpose of the Lab Safety Certificate Program is to encourage laboratory workers to broaden their safety knowledge by completing a variety of training programs related to laboratory and occupational safety.
Eagle Scout Award
Joseph officially earned his Eagle Scout award on November 12, 2019.
2018 Patriot's Pen Scholarship Recipient
This scholarship is a regional scholarship given out through the local VFW posts. Joseph was awarded the scholarship for his region. He had to write an essay on the prompt "Why I honor the American Flag" in order to be considered for this award.
National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT)
NYLT is a week long leadership training program offered by the Boy Scouts of America. Joseph attended this program in October of 2018. During NYLT Joseph was put into a four person patrol and was tasked with living and surviving solely with his patrol. His patrol was set at a clearing in the middle of the woods with military tents and no other supplies, and they were only told where to meet tomorrow morning. The several patrols would meet up throughout the day for leadership seminars and competitions. Through this program Joseph learned several fantastic methods and activities that he would use in his future leadership roles. At the end of the program he was also named the permanent patrol leader by the members of of his patrol.
